CEO and Founder of Narrows Counseling & Wellness

Latisha Sternod is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, Brainspotting Consultant, business owner, regional representative for the Catholic Psychotherapy Association, and former adjunct professor for the Department of Psychology at Washington State University. In 2011, Latisha graduated with a Master of Science in Psychology in Counseling and has used her education to better the lives of others. This includes a diverse population ranging from Fortune 100 companies, government agencies, and non-profits, such as Catholic Community Services and local parishes. As the Founder and CEO of Narrows Counseling & Wellness, she currently offers and oversees healing services that integrate psychological principles and spiritual truths from the Catholic Christian tradition. As a survivor of childhood trauma herself, Latisha knows firsthand the central role God plays in gently offering and facilitating healing to those who seek it. Latisha founded Narrows Counseling & Wellness on the key teachings of Jesus to love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:37,39; John 13:34-35) and every human person possesses an equal God-given dignity (Genesis 1:26; Deuteronomy 10:17-19; Psalms 139:13-16). It is important to Latisha that each person who participates in services takes the lead role of how they want to incorporate their spiritual and/or religious practices in their healing journey.

As a native Washingtonian, Latisha is passionate about serving individuals and couples throughout the State of Washington. She enjoys supporting fellow Pacific Northwesterners build a meaningful life while living in this beautiful, yet sometimes gloomy, part of the country.
